Rochefort chairs

Dimensions: 77 x 39 x 46.5 cm (height x width x depth)

The initial idea was to offer a set of mismatched but uniform chairs; an identical model but in different woods and with different finishes so that each one, unique, complements the other.

I first created two chairs... twin sisters. That's how the concept for the “Rochefort” chairs was born. After working on the composition of contemporary veneers made from plywood panels, I expanded the set with two more chairs.

The wood species are chestnut, walnut, ash, and oak. The patterns are diamond point, bottomless cube, and classic chevrons.

Option to order a set of chairs with a different combination of wood species and veneer patterns.

Goma display case

Oak, maple, padauk, and walnut Dimensions: 68 x 30 x 120 cm (L x W x H)

I designed this piece of furniture as a display cabinet, a decorative object in its own right, whose function is also to showcase other precious objects. The upper part, made of oak, is the display cabinet itself and conceals doors elegantly adorned with walnut handles and a Kumiko pattern called Goma, made of maple and padauk, which represents a sesame pod.

Shoji Bedside Table

Beech, maple, and wenge Dimensions: 38 x 25 x 70 cm (L x W x H)

I wanted to bring a touch of exoticism and light to this inlaid bedside table with its simple lines and Louis XVI-inspired design (tapered legs). The inlay pattern is reminiscent of the shoji panels that structure Japanese interior spaces. The wood grain of the maple marquetry background creates an elegant, low-contrast checkerboard effect. The structure of the piece and the drawer, as well as the slats on the top, are made of beech. The top, the door and drawer fronts, and the side and back panels are veneered in maple and wenge. The drawer features hand-crafted dovetail joints. Matte varnish finish.

Qiou Library

Oak and maple – Dimensions: 180 x 226 x 37 cm (L x H x D)

This bookcase, made entirely from local oak, was designed in three modules, the central one featuring sliding doors decorated with a kumiko pattern based on vertical lines and an AsaNoHa frieze. To counterbalance the very simple appearance of the structure, particular attention was paid to the multiple dovetail joints and the continuity of the wood grain on the sides of the three modules.

Mye coffee table

Oak Dimensions: 110 x 77 x 35 cm (L x W x H)

Finding an elegant and original shape for a coffee table top is no easy task. Drawing inspiration from nature is often the solution. This was the case for the Mye table, which echoes the shape of the shells of the same name.

The tabletop is made of solid oak and its unique, continuous edge is decorated with a patterned veneer created using plywood. The base, also made of oak,

Rubio oil finish “Soupçon de blanc”

Guma end table

Sycamore maple. Dimensions 57 x 45 x 52 cm (L x W x H)

This small magazine table has a 1950s design and was inspired by a “side table” designed by Arthur Umanoff. The compass legs (typical of the period) and the shape of the tabletop have been reinterpreted. This table is made of local maple, and the joints have been reinforced with walnut dowels to create a striking contrast. This effect is enhanced by the use of a striped elastic band to hold the magazines in place.

Tung oil finish.

Cigüe coffee table

Okoumé plywood Dimensions: 60 x 60 x 65 cm (L x W x H)

One of my first creations. A small side table made entirely of plywood. The surface of the tops is lacquered white, while the legs and edges of the tops are finished witha linseed oil. The hexagonal shape of the tops has been softened by rounding off every other corner.

Suzanne's office

Oak – Dimensions: 100 x 48 x 75 cm (L x W x H)

The base of this small desk consists of an asymmetrical screen with a rounded, enveloping side. The beveled top is light and airy. The drawer unit appears detached from the rest of the desk to better highlight the contemporary veneer of the fronts. A silhouette with character.

Lison Office

Ash-olive tree Dimensions: 110 x 50 x 75 cm (L x W x H)

This children's desk was designed with the intention of contrasting the simplicity of its lines with the intricate craftsmanship of its joints, tabletop shape, handles, and other details. It features three drawers with handcrafted dovetail joints and drawer bottoms decorated with Japanese paper. The sides and front of the tabletop are bevelled to lighten its silhouette, while the back features a winged strip to prevent objects placed on the desk from sliding off the tabletop.
